Jim Walker, Principal, has led all San Francisco brokers in the number of tenant represented transactions for the last three years. "Currently 64% of the market is 5,000 square feet and below, and it is very much a tenants market". We are witnessing quite a bit of market rate compression between class A and Class B buildings. There are some great opportunities and value to be found for smaller tenants in this current market whether it’s more creative type use or traditional office space".
He was born in Boston and grew up in San Diego, but has made San Francisco his home in every way. Aside from being a card carrying Red Sox fan. When it comes to getting you into the perfect small office space, Jim knows how to negotiate a deal for you that will make the landlord cry.
Alex DiChiara, principal, and the “D” of D&W, is one of the original founders of DiChiara & Walker. Alex’s love for San Francisco drew him to the real estate market early on, where his reputation grew quickly in the commercial real estate world. Like many of his fellow agents, Alex pursued big clients and big deals—and held his breath while someone he’d been working with for months finally reached a decision—one that would either break the bank, or break his heart.
